At umbrl, personal belongings are items you wear, use, or carry outside of the home such as your phone or the contents of your bag. There are two types of personal belongings - specified and unspecified which depends on the value of the item.

What are specified personal belongings?

You need to specify personal belongings that are individually worth more than £1,500 that you want to insure away from the home. You won't need to tell us about items you've already listed as specified high-risk items.

What are unspecified personal belongings?

These are the personal belongings that are individually worth less than £1,500 that you want to insure away from the home. Instead of listing individual items, you choose an amount which covers the total value of all of these items that you carry with you at any one time.
